The Sonatrach group and its subsidiary ENGCB (national company of civil engineering and building) signed on Tuesday in Algiers a contract with the British company Petrofac hydrocarbons engineering for a sum of 600 million dollars within the framework of the development of gas fields of Tinhert (Wilaya of Illizi).
This contract concerns the construction of a separation and compression center and the utilities upstream of the existing gas complex for the connection of 36 wells in the northern gas fields.
The objective of this project is to increase gas production with a daily input of raw gas of the order of 4.7 million m3 / day.
It also targets the treatment of all raw gas at the Ohanet plant through the management of CO2 and mercury and the production of 750 tonnes / day of condensate.
